Apparently Lady Gaga will play Louise in Barbara Streisand’s new movie titled ‘Gypsy’! Read the article from Broadway Buzz below:
Barbra Streisand’s long-gestating new film adaptation of Gypsy is still heating up, with news now breaking that the divine Miss Streisand is considering adding a mega music star to her dream cast list.
“She told me she’s thinking of casting Lady Gaga as the lead in her remake of Gypsy,” reports Time Magazine’s Joel Stein in an article about Streisand’s concert tour and new comedy flick The Guilt Trip.
As Streisand herself would step into the shoes of Mama Rose, that would mean that Gaga would ostensibly play Louise to Streisand’s overbearing stage mother.
The film has long been in the works, but received a healthy bump last March when Universal announced that the project would move forward with Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes helming the screenplay of the classic stage musical. Should Gaga enter the Gypsy fray, she’ll join other past Louise portrayers, including Natalie Wood, Sandra Church, Cynthia Gibb, Tammy Blanchard and Laura Benanti (who won a Tony for the role in 2008).
Lady Gaga will appear in a Disney animation called “Electric Disney” that has been produced by Barney’s New York and Disney. It will premiere on Wednesday, 14th November and will feature many celebrities. Check out some previews below.
Lady Gaga has added vocals to Zedd’s song Stache. She posted the vocals as a puzzle explaining how to put the vocals and the song together. After 70 minutes one fan got it right. Listen to the song below:
Jessie J has revealed that she is disgusted about what British tabloids have been making up about Lady Gaga.
Edited photos of Lady Gaga performing in Amsterdam have surfaced the internet recently showing her wearing a too small outfit for her. Since then the tabloids have been hitting hard on her calling her fat. Lady Gaga does admit that she has gained a little bit of weight but nowhere near to what those pictures were showing.
Jessie J has wrote the following on her Twitter:
I must say I am disgusted at some of the articles I have read about @ladygaga in the UK press recently. So sad that they can’t just support consistantly. She looks great and is a HUGE inspiration to so many.
