Lady Gaga thanks Little Monsters after surgery

MTNLady Gaga has published an open letter on LittleMonsters.com after her surgery to thank fans. Read it below:

Thank You

Monsters, You really gave me a lot of strength today. Everything happened so fast, but when it came time to face it I reflected on the many stories and experiences you’ve shared with me about your lives. Meeting you backstage, reading your letters, watching you communicate with fans from around the globe to form a community that supports one another–You have completely blown my mind. As they wheeled me into surgery today, I thought about all of your pain and perseverance,  your unique family situations, school environments, health issues, homelessness, identity struggles — sometimes you are so brave that it terrifies me. I wonder how it’s even possible. So I thought to myself, I’m alive, I’m living my dream, and this is just a bump in the road. I’m grateful because this is temporary, and for some it is not. You have changed my life. I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives. If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything.

Lady Gaga’s mom, Cynthia Germanotta, took to Twitter to say the following:

Surgery is over, it went well and she is in recovery. She loves you so much and talked about her little monsters the second she woke up.

Lady Starlight talks about Lady Gaga’s relationship with Taylor Kinney

LG and TKIn a recent interview with Life & Style magazine Lady Starlight said that Taylor Kinney, Lady Gaga’s boyfriend, is “totally awesome”.

“I love Taylor. I thought he was going to be too hot to be cool but I was wrong,” she said. “”He is totally awesome.”

“They are there for each other and support each other,” she continued. “When she has time to be wherever she wants to be she’ll be with him, I have no doubt he’s the one for her.”

UPDATED: Lady Gaga’s first film role in “Machete Kills”

Machete KillsLady Gaga will be making an acting debut in “Machete Kills”!

Yes you heard right! Lady Gaga will be starring in Robert Rodriguez’s sequel to his film “Machete” which will be titled “Machete Kills”. Lady Gaga has signed up to play the part of La Chameleon. We do not know much about the character she will play but Robert Rodriguez & Lady Gaga have posted a picture of the character on their Twitter’s and Robert had said “She kicked so much ass”. Many other stars such as Charlie Sheen, Jessica Alba & Sofía Vergara have all also signed up to star in the film. The film is set to release next year. Lady Gaga sets up the Born Brave Bus at the BTWB

BTW Foundation launchLady Gaga has invited the National Council for Behavioural Health to set up Born Brave stations outside for the venues of the Born This Way Ball shows in North America. The Born Brave Bus Tour will give fans the opportunity to meet with psychologists for help and support.

Lady Gaga said the following on Friday, 28th December on Twitter:

For those wondering about the “counseling” at the BTWBall BornBrave pre-show, it will be a fun tailgating experience for monsters to unite.

At the #BornBraveBus you have access to professional private or group chats about mental health, depression, bullying, school & friends.

#BornBraveBus there will also be food and games,  DJ White Shadow and Lady Starlight will DJ with host BreedLoveNYC to keep the experience fun

#BornBraveBus Is a place where mental health + depression are taken seriously w/ no judgement, FREE real help available to all BraverWorld

Cynthia Germanotta, Lady Gaga’s mom and president of the Born This Way Foundation said:

Gaga has a sold-out world tour and 32 million little monsters RTing her more than anyone on the planet. But, fame hasn’t made her a monster. With a $1.2 million personal donation, Gaga started her Born This Way Foundation, which combats bullying and promotes acceptance of the LGBT community. And, in the wake of Hurricane Sandy, the she pledged $1 million to relief efforts.

BTWLady Gaga has announced she is filming a documentary oh her life with photographer Terry Richardson!

There has been rumours of a Terry Richardson/Lady Gaga film or documentary for the past few months, and the rumours were true! The documentary will be about the making of ARTPOP. No definite release date has been announced, but it will likely be released at some point in 2013. Lady Gaga has shared the following on LittleMonsters:Gaga

Lady Gaga surprises a shooting victim

GagaLast August 17-year-old Daniel Borowy got shot in the cafeteria of Baltimore’s Perry Hall High School. Daniel, who has down’s syndrome, is a big little monster and knowing this his friends made a Facebook page titled ‘Lady Gaga Please Visit Daniel’.

Two days ago on 19th December, Daniel’s father, Milton Borowy, posted the following on the Facebook page:

I would like to start by thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Daniel. With everything that is going on I was waiting for an appropriate time to share this information and feel that maybe we need some good news! With that said I would like to share that he has received a package from Lady Gaga. It is pretty cool that someone in her position took the time to make a complete stranger happy.. The package included T shirts, cd’s, a persoanlly autographed message to Danny, a picture and 2 tickets to her upcoming concert.. ( I believe they are front row) To see the smile on his face is overwhelming.. Thank you Lady Gaga and thank you to everyone who had a hand in making this happen!!

Daniel has made full recovery since the shooting and is back in school now. We would like to wish Daniel all the best in the future!

Lady Gaga has recently shown support for Tamar Braxton through Twitter. Tamar is in a relationship with Vincent Herbert who is Lady Gaga’s manager, and as Gaga said she knew them both for a very long time. Tamar has recently released a new song called ‘Love & War’ which is currently #2 in US.

Lady Gaga has sent a support message to Tamar which was shown in their reality TV show ‘Tamar & Vince’.
