Lady Gaga reached 30 million followers on the social networking site Twitter. She has been in the lead for over two years, it all started in August 2010 when she overtaken Britney Spears. Justin Bieber has the most followers after Lady Gaga with 28.6 million. Lady Gaga also is the artist with the 4th most likes on Facebook, Rihanna is first, Eminem second and Shakira third.

Lady Gaga Reveals More Tour Merchandise
Lady Gaga has used twitter to reveal the second piece of merchandise for the Born This Way Ball Tour that kicks off in Seoul, South Korea on 27th April. The item is a grey jumper/sweater with an image of Lady Gaga that has been used for the Born This Way Ball poster.
She tweeted: “Shhh Monsters…don’t tell…lots of surprises in store…maybe later I’ll just hide in the bathroom + leak everything” along with the image of the item that you can see below.

Lady Gaga Reveals Tour Merchandise
Lady Gaga has used twitter to reveal one merchandise item for her new tour, the Born This Way Ball that will kick off in Seoul, South Korea in just 6 days.
She tweeted: “Just in case you fall and scrape your monster knee! I’ll be there 
l love you, you bandage me up when I need it! Xox” along with the picture of the merchandise item.

Lady Gaga Spends 4 Years on Twitter
It’s been only four years since Lady Gaga has joined twitter and the superstar already has over 21 million followers which is the most out of all users. Lady Gaga has been the first user to get 6 million followers and has been in the lead since. Lady Gaga’s first tweet on 27th March 2008 read “op rehearsing for my video just dance and am now at wmc to perform at the Armani and nervous records party. But I am no nervous record! …” Lady Gaga is close to 50 million likes on Facebook and already has been added to over 1 million circles on Google+ after joining just over 2 months ago.

Lady Gaga Wins at the GLAAD Awards
Lady Gaga as won the award for Outstanding Atrist for Born This Way at the GLAAD Media Awards 2012. Lady Gaga has won the same awards back in 2010. The awards show raises roughly $3.5 million for the LGBT community. Lady Gaga celebrated the win by tweeting “I’m so proud to win ‘Outstanding Artist’ for Born This Way album at GLAAD Media Awards. Thank you so much to your organization”.
Today Lady Gaga posted a picture to twitter wearing no make up and a white flower in her hair, looking gorgeous. Along with the picture she said “Have a beautiful day!!”.
Lady Gaga Earns $30m Per Year Thanks to Twitter
The Wall Street Journal has calculated Lady Gaga’s earnings thanks to her twitter account that has over 20 million followers. Lady Gaga has been in the lead since 6 million followers. The newspaper says that Lady Gaga’s tweets encourage her fans to buy her music legally earning her $30 million. Lady Gaga has roughly earned $90 million last year.

Miranda Lambert covers Yoü and I
Lady Gaga has yet another artist to cover one of her songs – Miranda Lambert. After the Grammy’s two Sundays ago, Lambert went on a tweeting rampage about how wonderful Gaga was and how great of a relationship they had.
“Wonder what my new friend @ladygaga is up to today? Hehe:)” Lambert tweeted the morning after the Grammy’s.
Now, Lambert has gone about covering one of Lady Gaga’s songs, Yoü and I. When you think about it, the cover is not that out-of-the-ordinary. Yoü and I is easily the most country song a pop artist has ever done and It seems to draw a big country base of fans towards Gaga.
On February the 19th, Lambert debuted the cover. It has her own version of country ‘twang’ along with the new lyrics of “North Carolina” instead of “Nebraska”. You can view it below.
The question, however, is if Gaga would even try to do her own version of “Gunpowder and Lead” on her Born This Way ball tour set for later this year. Who knows!
